Pricing and renewal ledger
A dated baseline that never pretends one snapshot is a trend
The current dataset is a verified observation, not fabricated history. Future rechecks append a new record instead of silently overwriting this baseline.
Current observation
Opening and renewal models
Opening annual model normalizes the cited price for comparison. Billing detail preserves how much and how long the buyer actually commits.
Interpretation
What this ledger can and cannot establish
A percentage describes the relationship between two captured price models. It does not prove that every customer, country, contract length or future date receives either amount.
Can answer
What the cited page disclosed for a named plan, term and observation date.
Cannot answer
The exact cart total for another country, tax status, account or campaign.
Renewal exposure
Large opening-to-renewal gaps are budgeting signals, not allegations of improper pricing.
No-teaser entries
The captured model had no separate teaser renewal; future price changes remain possible.
Plan identity
A renamed or materially changed plan begins a new comparable series and preserves the old record.
Evidence boundary
Checkout, invoice and contract control the purchase; this ledger supports pre-purchase verification.
Recheck protocol
- 01Open the same official product URL in the intended buyer country
- 02Match provider, plan, tier, term, currency and tax display
- 03Record opening amount, cash due today and effective annual model
- 04Record recurrence, renewal date, renewal amount or disclosed formula
- 05Record included domain, email, backup, licence and security products
- 06Save source URL, observation time, screenshots and a concise change note
- 07Append the observation; never erase the prior price
- 08Mark broken, renamed or incomparable plans instead of forcing a trend
Pricing FAQ
Why is there only one date?
Because only one comparable observation is currently retained. A line chart with one point would imply history that does not exist.
Does annual model mean annual billing?
No. It is a normalization. The billing field states whether one, three or four years may be charged upfront.
Are coupons included?
Only when the cited public offer and its conditions are part of the observation; personalized or unverifiable codes should be separate.
What changes trigger a new series?
A materially different plan identity, resource bundle, billing basis or market can make comparison misleading.
